I am an award-winning bilingual environmental journalist and science communicator. I have experience in photography, videography, science writing, and audio production, and I hold an FAA license for drone operations.

I have over five years of experience working as a science and environmental reporter for print and digital outlets, creating written, video, and audio pieces in English and Spanish.
I graduated with an M.A. in Media Innovation from the University of Nevada, Reno. I specialized in science and environmental reporting and produced multimedia work.
I have over two years of experience as a teacher of English as a second language for children and youth aged 5 to 17 at the University EAFIT in Medellín, Colombia.

There is a highly lethal disease called chytridiomycosis that has been devastating for Panamanian amphibian populations, including their national animal, the Golden Frog. Researchers from the University of Nevada, Reno, travel to Panama twice a year to help conserve the last individual.
