Golden Mission

There is a highly lethal disease called Chytridiomycosis that has been devastating for Panamanian amphibian populations, including their national animal, the Golden Frog. Researchers from the University of Nevada, Reno, travel to Panama twice a year to help conserve the last individual. I traveled with them on August 2023 to help produce written and video materials.
